The Arts to End Violence (ATEV) Youth Fellows program is a new initiative designed to engage young people in arts based projects for social change while earning money and building skills! Priority will be given to people who are referred by S.O.S. but any young person (14-24) is welcome to apply.
Youth Fellows will support the Mediation Center’s “Arts to End Violence” festival. The festival includes a talent show, a theater production, a gallery exhibition of anti-violence art from adults and youth, and a block party with local vendors, entertainment, art-making booths, and community building activities.
No prior artistic experience is necessary for any part of this fellowship. However; you do need CORE QUALITIES: Passion, Creativity, Critical Thinking Skills, Strong Participation, Willingness to Speak Up and Share your Ideas, and an Open Mind.
