Last night at 6 pm, 15 people gathered together in the rain on the corner of Albany and St. Marks Avenues to rally in response to the shooting of a 17-year-old young man on Monday afternoon in that location. S.O.S. outreach workers Lavon Walker and Derick Scott spoke out against the violence. Chaplain Magreen Snow represented the S.O.S. Clergy Action Network. Prior to Monday, there had been 67 days without a shooting in the S.O.S. catchment area.
