May 8: YO S.O.S. Media Arts Showcase at 6 pm at Brooklyn Children’s Museum, 145 Brooklyn Avenue

May 13: YO S.O.S. Media Arts Showcase at 5:30 pm at Black Lady Theater, 750 Nostrand Avenue

Youth Organizing to Save Our Streets are sharing their take on social issues through media arts. Come to their showcases to hear what they have to say! May 16: Volunteer Orientation: Summer Block Parties from 6-7:30 pm at Neighbors in Action, 256 Kingston Avenue

May 18: Kingston Avenue Festival from 1-5 pm on Kingston Avenue between Pacific Street and Bergen Street

May 23: Arts to End Violence Gallery Opening Reception at Ron Taylor Gallery from 6:30-8:30 pm

Join us at the Ron Taylor Gallery at 1160 St Johns Pl for the opening reception of our annual anti-violence art gallery. If you’re unable to make the opening reception, you can still see the gallery!
