We are saddened to report that there unfortunately was a fatal shooting in the Save Our Streets Catchment area this weekend. We are asking that you come stand with us for our Shooting Response, tomorrow (Tuesday 12/19) at 6pm on the corner of Schenectady and St Johns.

We are looking for a large show of support at tomorrow’s response, especially due to the circumstances of the shooting. This shooting broke our 470+ days without a homicide streak, and our 100+ days without a shooting streak. As well, the person who was shot was a known community member. We would like to promote the need to enter the year without further acts of violence and the need to promote more years violence free.
