
Legal Hand Volunteers will be working within a legal self-help program operating out of the Crown Heights storefront office. This program aims to eliminate barriers to legal access for low-income residents by bringing legal help to the community itself. the volunteers will be trained at no cost and will work under the supervision of an attorney to provide the Crown Heights neighborhood with legal guidance and assistance around a variety of issues, as well as referrals to full-time legal representation.
Volunteers will be paid a stipend of $15 per shift to cover transportation
