The Midtown Community Court is an experimental criminal justice project that is one of our sister organizations under the Center for Court Innovation, a non-profit think tank that helps courts and criminal justice agencies aid victims, reduce crime and improve public trust in justice.
Midtown is currently seeking a Parent Advocate/Case Manager for its job training and parenting programs. The position is within the workforce development project which consists of Times Square Ink, an innovative program designed to move ex-offenders and other individuals with barriers to employment to full-time work, and Dads United for Parenting, a new Responsible Fatherhood program which will provide intensive counseling services and case management to non-custodial fathers over the age of 24. Reporting to the Fatherhood Program Coordinator/Deputy Project Director, the Parent Advocate/Case Manager is responsible for providing counseling services, workshops, and client assistance for the fatherhood initiative, the adult workforce program, and mandated groups for defendants.
