Tuesday evening  September  27th,  S.O.S. C.A.N. was joined by over 25 community members as we convened at Union United Methodist Church (121 New York Ave) with resident Pastor, Rev. David Ball, for our monthly “Night Of Praise & Prayer Against Gun Violence.”

The atmosphere was saturated with music as we worshiped together. Several people offered prayers against the scourge of gun violence and the things that might lead to it. At least five Faith Leaders were among the prayer partners and joined the chorus of worshipers and prayer warriors.

On October 25th (the next 4th Tuesday evening) we will convene for our next monthly “Night Of Prayer Against Gun Violence” at Bethel U.M.C, 1325 Bedford Ave at the corner of Pacific St.  The doors will be open at 7 pm with worship and prayers from 7:30-8:30 pm. We hope to see you there.
