On Saturday, May 30th approximately 100 youth, clergy, and community members gathered at the Wingate High School in Crown Heights for the 2nd Annual Increase the Peace Youth Symposium. Participants enjoyed a variety of workshops and activities, a delicious lunch, as well as special performances by local rappers and spoken word artists. S.O.S. Bed-Stuy Program Manager, Juan Ramos led a workshop on gang violence and Heather Day, Associate Director of Youth and Community Programs led a workshop on social media safety.
