On the evening of Wednesday, June 24th, S.O.S. and the Mediation Center hosted approximately 50 volunteers and community partners in the beautiful backyard of the S.O.S. Bed-Stuy office. We could not do the job of creating safer and stronger communities in Brooklyn without the steadfast dedication and passion of our concerned neighbors, volunteers, clergy, business owners, parents, teachers, youth, artists, lawyers, social workers, law enforcement officers, students, therapists, and everyone who supports the work of S.O.S. Many supporters received special recognition plaques at the event and the street team handed out S.O.S. water bottles, bags, mugs, and t-shirts to continue spreading the work about anti-violence.
