S.O.S. staff have been busy leading participants in a variety of engaging activities to spark dialogue and build comradery.
Recently, a group of 7 Crown Heights program participants went to see the film “Kingsman” in Downtown Brooklyn, getting both a change scenery and a chance to to build stronger relationships with each other and with staff.
Additionally, Outreach Workers in Bed-Stuy facilitated a conversation using a short story about crews and peer pressure from the book “Real Men.” The event was attended by approximately 20 community members and sparked a lively dialogue.
Both events gave S.O.S. participants the chance to connect with one another and engage in meaningful conversation. We appreciate S.O.S. staff for helping bring the community together.
